Grow Group Questions - October 30, 2022
October 27, 2022 1:49 PM
Announcement:
Baptisms are on Nov 20th. Is there anyone in your group that has never been baptized since following Christ and needs to take that step of obedience?
Icebreaker: (Pick one or two)
Pastor Steve shared some of the things that keep us from going to God’s word (Boring, doesn’t make sense, I don't see value in it). If you are honest, which one do you have to battle through when coming to God’s word?
Spend time praying about what might have been shared in the going deeper discussion.

Icebreaker: (Pick one or two)
- What did your parents teach you about the Bible, either purposely or inadvertently?
- What about your grandparents?
- As you reflect on Sunday's message, what principle or insight stands out as being particularly helpful, insightful, or difficult to grasp?
- Is there one book of the Bible that you wish you could be an expert in or understand better?
- Why that one?
- What have you done to help you study that book better?
- Paul tells us the Scriptures are useful for “teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
- Have you seen God use one of these in your own life recently?
- How have you seen God use at least one of these four to bring change in your life?
- How do you come to God’s word to help you experience these in your life? (Personal tools, methods, resources)

- What behavior or reality of your life is most likely to keep you from reading the Bible daily?
- How can you challenge or address that this week?
- What can this group do to help you engage in regular Scripture reading?
