The Sermon Setup: Read Revelation 2:18 - 29 Thyatira
- What part of Jesus seeing "minds and hearts" feels comforting to you? What part feels unsettling?
- Even though Thyatira was loving and active in ministry, even improving in their results as they went, Jesus still rebuked them. In what ways do you think outward love and ministry activity can sometimes mask deeper spiritual compromise?

- Can you think of a time when you have avoided hard conversations or confronting sin in the name of "loving well"? Share a situation. How might that fall short of representing the gospel?
- On the other side, where have you leaned on "truth" in a way that lacked compassion or humility? What did that reveal about your heart, and how does the gospel call you respond differently?
