Sermon Discussion: Read Deuteronomy 6:4-9
- The Shema emphasizes constant engagement with God’s Word (talking about it, binding it, writing it). How does this compare to how we interact with Scripture in our day? Do you believe it is easier or harder for us today to be constantly engaged with the Bible?
- Why do you think Jesus, the Son of God, spent so much time studying, quoting, and fulfilling Scripture? What does that teach us?
