Are you interested in ‘discovering’ more about a variety of spiritual topics? Great! Tuesday Evening “Discover” at Bethany Church is all about making available different topics of study that are designed to GROW you in your spiritual walk; your family life; your relationships; your church understanding; and much more. Each fall and spring semester we will offer a variety of studies that you may choose from and participate in. Feel free to in whatever study interests you. The studies will vary in length depending on the topic and will be lead by a variety of Bethany people. You simply sign up in advance for the study that interests you…and participate! 


This fall semester hosts the following studies:


    “Living By The Book” AND "Lord, Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 Days" – Lead by Pastor Corey & Carol

“Living By The Book” – is a 7-week inductive Bible study methods DVD discussion course by Howard Hendricks. This is an introduction to the Bible study method of observation, interpretation, and application that will make all the difference in your time with God's Word!

“Lord, Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 Days” – is a follow-up 3 week study that builds on “Living By The Book” with skills andtechnique that will get you going applying all you have just learned. You’ll look in depth into the books of Jonah and Jude utilizing the Bible study methods. 

Group meets weekly in the Student Center at 6:30 p.m. from September 18 through December 11, skipping Thanksgiving week.


Renewing Sexual Purity
 – Lead by Reggie & Bridget Rabb and Alyssa Boardman

Utilizing the 11 week “Conquer Series” video curriculum you will be made aware of the factors that create and reinforce unhealthy sexual behavior. This series provides a comprehensive understanding and the tools needed to offer hope and freedom to men, women, students, and families. Topics include:

  • Understanding the Battlefield
  • The Battle of the Brain
  • Renewing the Mind
  • Strongholds of the Enemy
  • The Battle Plan
  • And more…

Group meets weekly in the KIDstuf Theater Classroom at 6:30 p.m. from September 18 through December 11, skipping Thanksgiving week.
